Characters have clothes and other personal items, but other than what is listed below if there’s something a player wants for their character at the start, they’ll need to purchase it using the Trading rules outlined below.
Note, Gear acquired at character creation must still be rolled for, and this may result in a lower starting Provisions Die (to a minimum d4–2.)
- Supplies: d4 Provisions
- Common Gear: a backpack, a flint and tinderbox, a sleep roll
- Armor: Light Leather Armor
- Special Item (pick one): Broadsword, Sling, Throwing Daggers, Buckler
