It is told that Taris herself birthed the Five Pearls at the creation of the world.
The Five Pearls
It was befitting that, upon her awakening, Taris immediately embarked on the act of creation. First, she birthed the Five Pearls, their radiance yet to bloom, hanging lifeless in the cosmic void.
The movement of the moons has a substantial impact on the erratic weather of Tarisia. The priests of Wrend believe the Pearls to be the cosmological counter balance to the Twin Suns, and claim to be able to predict violent weather by tracking the Pearls movement patterns.
It’s also said that certain alignments of the Five Pearls may have an effect on the mysterious Discordant Paths, though to what extent is largely unknown.
