Overview

• The Pathwalker is an unreliable narrator. She provides narrative flavor to the rules, but also provides a bit of in-game context for how things are perceived.
• She lives a long time or perhaps is immortal
• Origins are unknown, but perhaps is from the world before, or came with the arrivals.
• She fits a sort of Odin archetype. Master of travel and fortune for those braving the savage sands.
• Perhaps an exceptional fighter but pacifist. Like Vash from Trigun.
• Aims to observe the world, and takes a very very long view of politics or social events. Consequently does not often involve herself in the matters of Tarisians.
• Perhaps some Tom Bombadill inspiration. I’m just learning about this character, but he seems jovial and nature loving, with unknown origins.
• She is largely myth and rumor. Few have ever met her, but it seems everyone has a story of her, or knows someone who knows someone who crossed her path.
• The Thrones largely believe her to be a myth. Someone the peasants invented to help them cope with the insufferable world. A few may offer money for her head, but public opinion is too high for many to cash in.
