Overview

• At the southernmost end of the Barren Valley lies the Defiled Lakes. A former ocean bay that has now dried and broken into a series of bogs and lakes.
• The lakes and bogs have a deep red blood-like hue. Legends state this is due to the consistent ritual sacrifice that occurs on the lake by the Throne Bolas.
• The city of Ak-ta lies along its western reaches.
